Your trusted tour guide Kathleen was born and raised here in Sydney, went away to travel the world, and returned when she realized her heart belongs in Cape Breton. She is passionate about the Island’s culture, landscapes, and most of all, the cuisine. Kathleen's extensive background in Hospitality & Tourism makes her the perfect guide for your next Island adventure. Where does the tour begin?

The Taste of Sydney Food Tour begins at the 'Sydney' sign on the boardwalk, and ends at the Big Fiddle/Cruise Pavilion.

The 'Sydney' sign is about a 10 minute walk from the Big Fiddle. The nearest building to locate the starting point is 320 Esplanade, Sydney, NS B1P 5X3. See reference photo below.

What is the cost of the tour?

The tour costs $99 USD/$136 CAD per person. This price includes tax.

How long does the tour take?

The Taste of Sydney Food Tour takes approximately 3 hours. Our daily tours begin at 11 am, and we will be sure to have you back at the Big Fiddle by 2 pm.

What can I expect to eat?

We'll be stopping at a variety of restaurants and eating foods that will contain fish, meat, dairy and gluten. PLEASE LET US KNOW OF ANY ALLERGIES during booking - we will do our best to accommodate you.

We will also be stopping at a local cidery with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
